Welcome to the November 2025 Newsletter from Honey Bear Child Care! This month, our focus is on seasonal learning, remembrance, and creativity as we dive into the theme “All About Fall” and honor Remembrance Day.
🍂 Daycare & Preschool Theme: All About Fall & Remembrance Day
Throughout November, our little learners will explore the beautiful changes of autumn — from colorful leaves to cozy weather — while learning about the importance of remembering those who served on Remembrance Day.
Learning Highlights:
- Letters of the Month: H, I, J, K
- Number of the Month: 8
- Color Focus: Yellow 🌼
- Shape Focus: Square ⬛
- Opposites: Stop & Go 🚦
Our educators will incorporate these learning areas into engaging stories, songs, art, and sensory play to support literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
🏫 Out-of-School Program: Fall & Remembrance Day
Our Out-of-School Program continues to provide enriching after-school activities focused on teamwork, creativity, and fun.
Weekly Schedule:
- Monday: BINGO & Baking
- Tuesday: Structured Games
- Wednesday: Physical Activities
- Thursday: Arts & Crafts
- Friday: Movie & Treat Day 🎬🍪
🗓 Professional Day: November 10, 2025
Children will enjoy a full day of planned indoor and outdoor activities.
🔔 Important Reminders for Parents
- Please renew your child care subsidy if needed.
- The cut-off time for drop-off is 10:00 AM — kindly ensure timely arrival to maintain routine and participation.

December 2025 – January 2026 Holiday Schedule:
- Dec 24: Open 7:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
- Dec 25 & 26: Closed
- Dec 29 & 30: Open 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Dec 31: Open 7:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
- Jan 1 & 2, 2026: Closed
