Welcome to June at Honey Bear Childcare!

As we wrap up another wonderful school year, we’re excited to celebrate Father’s Day, our Preschool Graduation, and the start of a fun-filled Summer Program. Thank you for your continued support and for being a part of our growing community. We look forward to a joyful and memorable month ahead with your little ones!

• June 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM – Graduation Day 🎓 (Limit: 2 family members per child)

• Tuesday – Art Craze 🎨
• Wednesday – Language, Writing & Bingo 📝
• Thursday – Science / Math Activities 🔬
• Friday – Movie & Treat Day 🍿

📌 Important Reminders

• Please inform staff if your child is returning this summer — spots are limited!
• Summer Closure: August 28–29, 2025 (Staff training & preschool preparation)
• Please renew your subsidy if needed.
• Drop-off cut-off time is 10:00 AM
• OOSC families: Call ahead if your child doesn’t require pick-up.

• Pack enough food for the whole day
• Non-microwavable meals for field trip days
• Bring water bottle, change of clothes, sunscreen, hat & shades
• Refer to OOSC Summer Calendar for activities

It’s the last month of summer!
Our children are enjoying outdoor and water play most of the time, so please ensure your child has a change of clothes at the daycare.

📘 Out of School Program (OOSC) Theme:

ALL ABOUT SUMMER!!!

The calendar for this month has been distributed to all families.

✔️ Ensure your child has:

• Appropriate clothing
• A water bottle
• Enough food for the day

🚫 Reminder: No peanut products allowed. We will not serve food containing peanuts.

🔥 We do not have access to a microwave on field trip days. Please pack non-microwavable food.

🎓 Kindergarten families:
Please provide us with your child’s schedule if they are doing a transition program this month.

🎉 Happy B.C. Day!

📝 Reminders:

• Daycare is closed on Monday, August 4, 2025 (B.C. Day)
• Summer Closure:
  We will be closed on August 28 & 29, 2025
  (Staff training and preschool preparation)

• For OOSC, please inform the daycare in advance if your child does not need pick-up
